Bokomo Oats Bix

We all know the importance of having fibre in our diets and I guess Oats have always been the first choice. But sometimes the hassle of cooking, waiting for it to cool down can be a time waster in this rushed life.

Bokomo came up with the idea of the Oat Bix, where you just need to pour your milk and eat it. So I went to the shops and bought a box to try myself.

My honest opinion is that it took a long time for the Bix to melt and when it did melt, it was sort of like porridge not chinks as I had expected it to be.

My second try to it was to make my milk a bit hot, hoping it would melt more quickly, which it did a little but the taste was just blehhh.

Overall the idea is great but perhaps they can tweak this a bit more so that it will melt quickly and it doesnt become muddy.

Mugg & Bean House Blend Ground Medium Roast Coffee Review

First I have to admit that I am a coffee-holic and I start my day with a cup of coffee. You can be assured that I have tried so many different coffee's in my life time. I am sure many of us addicts would like to get the same experience at home .

So I experimented with a different of coffees out there and discovered some thing I love, and that was the Mugg and Bean House blend. Just the smell of it in when you open the packet is just inviting. Now I use the coffee maker at home and bought a milk frother. Let me tell you this coffee taste so good that you have to get the 2nd cup.

The packaging is nicely made, not to busy and the colours are just basic. It has a useful bend at the top to seal it so that air does not penetrate and I have personally found it useful, I don't have to use a peg anymore like the other coffees I have tried.

Next time you are at Mugg n bean, just buy their coffee, you will not regret it.
